[Disclaimer: Islamophobia is the hatred or fear of Islam or Muslims… and I do not hate or fear either one. The Bible teaches to love our Brother as ourselves. What the Bible also tells us is to hate the sin and not the individual… even an enemy. The Bible tells us to seek truth and it is to truth I will endeavor to keep this writing focused on.]
I found the strong need to write of the christian: faith, hope and expectation for what is coming before fully engaging the topic of Islam within this writing. It was because of the need to understand and embrace the foundation of christianity… to know who Jesus was and is to this faith, OUR GOD, and to have this be fully known before attempting to lay out the reasons I feel/felt to write this whole series as I have. It makes for sound reasoning to what Jesus said would prevail in the end of time: there will be wars and rumors of wars, brother fighting brother, country against country… but these are things that must take place [like a woman giving birth and the same types of pains that prevail].
There is a growing awareness to the unmistakable growth of one religion in the world today… that of Islam. It is due to this explosion of growth, and the means it has used to accomplish it, I feel compelled to write of it to you [the reader], to further understand the what and the why. The importance of this occurring in the times we are in [as it relates to prophecy] has an awful lot to do with the eschatology of both christianity and Islam- the teaching or telling of the end of time… or it’s conclusion.
As to the why Islam has grown… and it comes down to two basic reasons: being born into it and being forced into it- from fear of reprisal or the threat of death. Being born into it is to either not understand some of its practices as being harmful [devoid of love and truth] and this could be more related to the very nature of the culture in which it thrives under. Islam is in essence a theocratic governmental system [something we in the West seem very ignorant to what this means (an all inclusive system)] and everything about everyday life is centered from and shall satisfy the directives put forth by the religious leader(s) in control: legality and justice, education, economics and trade… where religion plays the central theme- all part of the functions for and of the whole of society. In the culture this prevails is also the belief [reinforced from their religious teaching] is the belief it is alright to lie to those uninformed as a means to get them to convert to being a Muslim. Let me explain further by saying this, there are four specific words to this notion, and they are: takiyya, tawriya, kitman and muruna. Each of these words has a very specific understanding behind them but the meaning is to: lie, deceive, be less than truthful and do all this in the presence of the [perceived] enemy.
Below are abstracts taken from this site to use the meaning behind these words as examples to those of us that are from the West [and ignorant to them and their usage]. I do not endorse or promote everything there… but would have you understand the words used here for a vital and viable understanding of those we will soon face.
TAKIYYA:Takiyya is defined as dissimulation about ones Muslim identity.Islamic Sharia Law provides, “When it is possible to achieve an aim by lying but not by telling the truth, it is permissible to lie if attaining the goal is permissible, and lying is obligatory if the goal is obligatory.” (Reliance of the Traveler, Para r8.2) Examples include lying to protect Islam or a Muslim.
TAWRIYA: Tawriya is defined as concealing, and it could be called “creative lying”.
Suppose someone protests that Surah 1 of the Quran demeans Christians and Jews, because it is a supplication Muslims make to Allah seventeen times a day to keep them from the path of “those with whom God is angry” and “those who have lost their way”. A Muslim might respond, “Surah 1 never mentions Jews or Christians.” He is practicing tawriya, because while Surah 1 does not mention Jews and Christians by name, but he knows full-well that the words “those” refer to Jews and Christians.
KITMAN Kitman is characterized by someone telling only part of the truth. Often, kitman results in a gross distortion of the truth. In the example given, the Quran uses jihad and its derivatives 59 times. Of those, only 16 (27%) could be considered “internal” with no object as the target of the struggle based on the context of the surah.
Another common form of kitman is to quote only the few peaceful passages from the Quran, knowing full-well that that passage was later abrogated by a more militant, contradictory verse. Here is an example:
“There is no compulsion in religion” (Surah 2:256) Early Medina
“Are they seeking a religion other than Allah’s, when every soul in the heavens and earth has submitted to Him, willingly or by compulsion?” (Surah 3:83 Later Medina)
MURUNA: Muruna means using “flexibility” to blend in with the enemy or the surroundings. The justification for this kind of deception is a somewhat bizarre interpretation of Surah 2:106, which says, “If we abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten, We will replace it by a better one or similar.” Thus, Muslims may forget some of the commands in the Quran, as long as they are pursuing a better command. Muslims striving to advance Islam, therefore, can deviate from their Islamic laws in order to cause non-Muslims to lower their guard and place their trust in their Muslim counterpart.
Can a religion thrive when it continues to grow based on: lies being used, deceit and deception, a lack of love for those not of that faith… and, ultimately, the threat of death if one does not convert to their way of life? I think it can… based on the lack of faith, hope or understanding one may have of their own faith [or the conviction to stay faithful to it] in the face of being threatened to the point of death- the loss of your own life here and now. This was the whole point and very need to emphasize what christianity offers the believer- ETERNAL LIFE, the life beyond this one is the most valuable. This is a complete antithesis [a polar opposite] of the love that has been shown us in the life of Jesus Christ, and violates everything Jesus taught us- the things Jesus said for a follower of Himself to do. Jesus taught us to be servants to mankind [for the sake of His Gospel] out of love for them… not become subservient to a religion that would kill you if you do not convert to their way of doing. It does tell us, even in the words Jesus Himself used, there will come a time you will be hated for my name’s sake and will be subjected to persecution for it- or worse.
Read here below… words of warning from Jesus Himself…
Matthew 24:4-9 (King James Version)
4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ’I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains. 9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.
John 7:7 KJV The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.
John 16:9 KJV Of sin, because they believe not on me;
This is also found in the Epistle of Jesus Christ, as told us by John, in Revelation…
Revelation 20:4 KJV And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
I can think of no other religion or culture where beheading is condoned or looked on as an acceptable practice than Islam or the Middle East. In most cultures in the modern world it would be called,”A barbaric act.”
When it comes to Islam and christianity… the differences are as striking as night and day. One says it is alright to lie and the other declares,”Jesus is the truth.” One says accept it or die [in this life] and the other says to believe Jesus is God and die is to live eternally. One requires the blood of those unwilling to convert [even the blood of the saints] and the other proclaims the blood of the Lamb of God [Jesus Christ] was shed for all mankind- the hope of salvation to be found. Both make the claim there is only one God but christianity tells us of the blessed Trinity [and is also denied by those of the Islamic faith]. I will list below the eschatology of both Christianity and Islam… you must make your own choice and come to your own conclusions.
Revelation 18:4 KJV And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
(I can think of no time more important to Judaeo-Christian understanding than the Passover and the plagues used in Egypt… the time of first deliverance.)
Mark 13:14 KJV But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
Revelation 16:6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. 7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.
Revelation 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
Is Allah the moon god of the Kaba? Look here to see what is known.
However, Christians and Muslims have two different views of what the final matter is. Both views of the end, however, cannot be true since they are diametrically opposed to each other. The Muslim Jesus descends and converts the world to Islam, kills the Jews, breaks crosses, declares himself a Muslim and gets married. He dies after 40-years.
If there was a false prophet, as per the jewish writings, what is listed above equates to one such as this, see this mentioned and listed here, and I would like to add this site here for those who might think I’m not being fair minded.
I have found a man named Justin Alfred, one very well versed in theology and eschatology: a Pastor, an adjunct Professor, having an MA in Near Eastern Languages and Cultures [speaking Greek, Aramaic and Hebrew]. He is the leading source of some of the references for this writing (other than my own understanding and use of scripture) to rely on [being an expert in all fields mentioned within this writing and able to provide a vast array of information to this very subject]. You can find: his credentials spoken of on his “about me page,” Topics written on here, hear him speak about some questions about Islam [on the radio show,”To Every Man an Answer,” a program that aired April 24th, 2013… advance this half way if you would simply like to listen to what is said about Islam] here, a blog with a running series of writings concerning the end times theology and two short e-books [probably from his seminars]… one with 43 pages on “Prophecy and Eschatology” here and the other with 90 pages on “Middle Eastern History and the Emergence of Islam” here.
I would also like to add here this last bit of scripture as both warning and telling of what God’s word is for us… the truth as God sees it. I can only hope you will agree. (D.V.)
Ezekiel 33:17-19 (King James Version) 17 Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal. 18 When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby. 19 But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby.
Your Brother in Christ Jesus,
