e ratio verbum (out of reasoning word)

~ A great WordPress site, one dedicated to God… to Jesus Christ, the LORD of Lords and KING of Kings. This site is a food bank for the mind, one I hope will touch your heart by the change… the chance to comprehend God's love for all humanity. In Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and LET US REASON TOGETHER, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. In Jonah 2:2 And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice. Arrogance is not to be confused with boldness!, Pride is the killer of faith in God first!

There is a prevailing thought among many these days, especially atheists… of a newer breed of such individuals, and it is a false pride complete with the bravado unknown before. It is the same bravado that begged to be different in the surety of their own vanity- not so different from the fallen ones and those they followed originally. Pride is indeed its undoing… its choice… its lament will be felt forever- not in the satisfaction and mistake of seeking pleasure for themselves or the expensive cost but to live for eternity without one iota of pleasure to be felt again. To even speak of it so is a concept atheists resist and deplore but the truth of it being a reality gets in the way of everyone set in mind not to be deprived today. Living in the now without God is to beg for our choice to be made permanent- secure and fixed forever. Why did Jesus have to die if there is only the pursuit of pleasure to be gained from this life? Jesus gave His life as a sacrifice to make the way clear to God for all humanity… the removal of sin for the penitent, asking for His forgiveness, to change their mind of doing what was important to them (to repent) and to set about the will of God in their lives. If hell was not a real place then deliverance comes into question but, rest assured, deliverance is why Jesus came to earth- to save as many as He could. Are you ‘one’ he is still looking for?

Jesus did this because He knew hell is for real and to take the sins of all mankind upon Himself was to become what God abhorred- sin itself. This was told us in the Messianic verses of the Bible, speaking of the Messiah to come… the suffering Messiah would endure such pain for the love He had for us (before we knew Him), the truth of why He came in the human form as He did. To make a proclamation so brash, to think so little of the life saving blood of Jesus covering our sins, as to say,”We do not need God,” is further proof of just how wrong we are and how forsaken we have become ourselves. Jesus felt great loss being separated from God the Father at the cross, telling us there is a great consequence to desire ‘to do it our own way’ and without God involved.

[The Messianic prophecy of the Messiah to suffer so… for you and I and if we but believe in Him, repent… and turn toward Him and not away from Him.]

The prophecy in the Bible is true or it would not be provable and provably found in such cohesion (both the same in Old Testament as well as the New Testament) and clearly stated.

Psalm 22:1 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

Mark 15:34 KJV
https://www.biblestudytools.com/kjv/mark/15-34.html
34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying,Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Psalm 22:18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.

Luke 23:34 KJV
https://www.biblestudytools.com/kjv/luke/23-34.html
34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

Please keep in mind the time frame of when the former was written. The Old Testament, being attributed to David, King of Israel… after Saul, and most of the Psalms, were penned at least one thousand years before Jesus Christ walked the earth. This can only mean one thing, and let me be perfectly clear in stating this, to be found 100% accurate is to realize God has a hand in the affairs of man and will be equally accurate in the prophecy pointing to the end of human history. This leaves humanity two choices, to turn away from life without God (which leads to death) or to seek God and claim life is important enough to appreciate it (eternal life actually begins here) and realize what love God has for those in His service.

Psalm 22:23 Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.

Psalm 22:30 A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.

Yes, there can be many people found stemming from the seed of Abraham (like the sands on the beach) but only one held the key to be used as the conduit for the lineage (to fulfill prophecy and complete God’s plans) and life of Jesus Christ… the Messiah of Israel and all humanity. Know the difference between what God offers you is a choice, one He allows you to make on your own (not coerced/threatened but made willingly) or it comes not from God. God will always honor your choice, no matter if it is for love or not- and he will make sure the choice you make will bring long lasting effects… forever! Will you choose love or hate? It is my prayer you choose love, you will won’t you?

Just how much time we have left to make this choice is not ours to know!

#Tellsomebody, A spirit found is a mind changed and a life saved, faith, humanity, mind, spirit, The gospel is this..., truth, word

“The Gospel is not what the world would like us to tell humanity but what God wants to tell the world and humanity through us.”
Russell D. Holder

When we were yet sinners it was God that first loved us!

Romans 10:8-12 8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

I can think of one such man, found in the US Navy (but not now… fired under President Obama) and fired for fulfilling the duty he was called to do- to honor God before man or country. See two articles about him below… Lt. Cmdr. Wes Modder.

ATTN: There are only ten more days before Harvest America, June 11th, 2017, a gospel outreach [by Nationwide Simulcast], to tell boldly what this message is all about. The gospel simply translates to ‘Good News’ and to know God cares that much for us (all) is good news indeed. For God to be: known, heard, listened to, understood and accepted is the fullest potential of this message- from God’s heart to our own. Will you share this truth… this truth of God with another? I pray you will. (D.V.)

See Him- truly see Him as He is

Belief proceeds to faith and our
deeds proceed from our faith…
so let our actions tell the world
the same message of our mouth,
‘the walk’ and ‘the talk’ to match…
no hypocrisy will we then sow;
therein is found the profound
difference of this love we show,
to live the same truth we believe…
and strengthened by His grace,
the Lord Jesus is our God so
we should live to seek His face.

There are many religions throughout the world but none show us love as Christianity does. Quite truthfully, Christianity is more than a religion… it is ‘the way’ to a personal relationship with God Himself. This is so mankind (all humanity) can understand their identity in God is made complete- when we know the identity of God Himself. How can any man claim other than this is true? Below are found selected scripture containing: God’s view of covenant (promise), man’s view of himself (with and without God), the relationship coming from His promise(s), God’s will for mankind (the God/servant relationship) and words from Jesus Himself (in both Old Testament and New/the ‘New’ Covenant)- as His word is truth incarnate.

[What follows below can be found here, all about ‘apocalyptic’ events we will go through. It is prolegomenous (a critical or discursive introduction) to how things are really looked at by God… this time we are living in today. This differentiates all other religions from what is expressed to man, and mankind, by telling us what will happen before it comes to pass- and it will come to pass.]

It has often been argued that apocalyptic is a response to distress, enabling suffering people to see that God is in control of their circumstances and that ultimate deliverance is assured. There is certainly truth in this. However, as a total explanation it may be questioned. Apocalyptic is not the only biblical response to suffering, and therefore other factors must prompt it as well. Furthermore, the apocalyptic movement seems to have flourished also at times when particular suffering was not experienced. It is not clear, for instance, that Revelation is a response to suffering, although suffering is predicted in it ( 2:10 ; 13:10 ). Sociologically, it seems better to say that apocalyptic is the product of a prophetic movement, which claims to reveal the way things really are, both in heaven and on earth (the term “apocalypse, ” the Greek name of the Book of Revelation, means “unveiling”).

Within Judaism apocalyptic faded out, but an apocalyptic visionary tradition has remained alive within Christianity ever since. No subsequent work, however, ancient or modern, attains the grandeur and power of the canonical Book of Revelation.

This interconnectedness is expressed in various ways. There are heavenly counterparts of earthly realities, like the “angels of the seven churches” ( Rev 1:20 ), and the four living creatures by the throne ( Rev 4:6 ), and the “son of man” of Daniel 7:13, who to some extent represents God’s people in heaven ( Da 7:18 ). Similarly there are earthly counterparts of heavenly realities, seen for instance in the ghastly pairing of the two women who are also cities in Revelation 1:7-21: on the one hand the Great Whore, who enslaves the world by war and commerce, and on the other the Bride of Christ, who brings healing to the nations.

There is mutual penetration, expressed both by the presence of the risen Christ in and with his church (Rev 1-3), and also by the way in which earthly powers are seen as nurtured by the power of the beast ( Rev 17 ). Life on earth is determined from heaven: Decrees are issued from the throne that affect the earth ( Rev 16:1 ; cf. Dan 7:26 ), and events in heaven have a radical effect on earth (such as the ejection of the defeated dragon from heaven, Revelation 12:9 Revelation 12:12 ).

[Below is found here, under ‘Lawlessness,’ and it defines the characteristics of people, allowed by God, during the ‘end of days’… as a direct result of ‘their free will’ being exerted over any other.]

The law as such may be the criterion or standard for determining what constitutes lawlessness (as with sin in general), but at its root lawlessness is rebellion against God, whether viewed as the condition of one’s life or as specific Acts that demonstrate a determined refusal to acknowledge God.

Sin is thus an act of rebellion against God, and cannot be thought of as harmless, neutral, or imaginary. Receiving the righteousness of God depends on being forgiven. On the one hand, the occurrences in Matthew are particularly related to the persistent refusal to accept the Messiah on God’s terms and to harassment of God’s people by those in opposition. The setting is either the final judgment ( 7:23 ; 13:41 ; 23:28 ) or the last stage of history when lawlessness is to reach an unprecedented height (24:12). Thus, lawlessness comes to be seen in direct connection with opposition to the Messiah and his message. This connection is completed in the description in 2 Thess 2:3, 7 of the eschatological “man of lawlessness,” who will lead the final rebellion against God that will precede Christ’s second coming. In this figure the rebellion that has exerted itself against God’s will in every age reaches its height in the last day.

[Below is found under ‘Matthew Henry Commentary‘ for 2 Thessalonians 2:7]

Superstition and idolatry were advanced by pretended devotion, and bigotry and persecution were promoted by pretended zeal for God and his glory. This mystery of iniquity was even then begun; while the apostles were yet living, persons pretended zeal for Christ, but really opposed him. The fall or ruin of the anti-christian state is declared.

Revelation 17:1 KJV

http://www.biblestudytools.com/kjv/revelation/17-1.html

1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:

Galatians 1:8 (NIV) But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!

The apostle, St. Paul… an apostle of Jesus Christ, solemnly denounces, as accursed, every one who attempts to lay so false a foundation. All other gospels than that of the grace of Christ, whether more flattering to self-righteous pride, or more favorable to worldly lusts, are devices of Satan. And while we declare that to reject the moral law as a rule of life, tends to dishonor Christ, and destroy true religion, we must also declare, that all dependence for justification on good works, whether real or supposed, is as fatal to those who persist in it. While we are zealous for good works, let us be careful not to put them in the place of Christ’s righteousness, and not to advance any thing which may betray others into so dreadful a delusion.

another–A distinct Greek word from that in Galatians 1:6. Though I called it a gospel ( Galatians 1:6 ), it is not really so. There is really but one Gospel, and no other gospel. All I meant by the “different gospel” was nothing but a perversion by “some” of the one Gospel of Christ.

by the revelation of Jesus Christ–Translate, “by revelation of [that is, from] Jesus Christ.” By His revealing it to me. Probably this took place during the three years, in part of which he sojourned in Arabia ( Galatians 1:17 Galatians 1:18 ), in the vicinity of the scene of the giving of the law; a fit place for such a revelation of the Gospel of grace, which supersedes the ceremonial law ( Galatians 4:25 ).

This is prophesied to be… and the days in which this will happen (and it will happen) draw nearer to us all. Thankfully, Jesus Christ will prevail… and this has been told us too!

P.S. I know this seems harsher than it could (the poem itself)… but this is something being thrown at anyone not a Moslem. This is truly the time we need to (as Christians) pray for a: change of heart (ours as well as theirs), tenderness to be restored to those in the Middle East, and (true) hope to be felt again. Let there be the sounds of Joy… not the sounds of disbelief and shock. Pray… and don’t stop- these are the days we have been foretold about. Pray for strength of mind, hope to be understood and the heart of Jesus Himself- to love even us. We love Him because He first loved us!

'Free eBook' for Christmas (on Christmas), belief, faith

For some time now I have been a big fan of the history, and accuracy, of the Bible- as it has been canonized. Having been inspired by the Spirit of God, the Bible recounts many stories (although some might consider them just stories) and I firmly believe them to be more than (just) stories but accounts of Jewish History and things God wants us to know- and believe to be true. It is because of the historical aspect to the information provided us in the Bible… we should strive to gain from comparative texts and information to view the truth and authenticity of what it contains. Here is what I’m saying, there is a time when science, in this case… Archaeology, can solidify our beliefs- as we have come to know them from the word of God in the Bible. We should also become aware, to open eyes, there might be times when one from within those constructs of thought might not see it as we might but this does not mean we should not see what is expressed- knowing there might still be some value to what is shared and coming from this discipline (historically).

To this end, to gain a broader perspective to what we might think we already know, I share a link and another ‘free eBook,’ available through the Biblical Archaeology Society (BAS), entitled,”The First Christmas: The Story of Jesus’ Birth in History and Tradition.” Please keep in mind… this is coming from a different perspective than the one you might have conceived… one you have come to (think you) know… one that has been commonly considered to be a part of the big picture already- our ‘warm fuzzy view’ we hold to. This is where history comes alive… and where Archaeology can shed true light on something we thought we were looking at in the light of our own awareness.

Your Brother in Christ Jesus,

Russ

belief, calm, chance, choice, cost, eternity, Open your blind eyes, Open your heart to His truth- He alone is God almighty

To disregard the resurrection is to deny: Jesus was God Himself, what this means to the believer, what hope is offered mankind from this knowledge or leads to diminish the importance of it to christianity itself. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is, in fact, the hinge and cornerstone of our belief. Without it… christianity sounds like every other religion known throughout the world. Another characteristic that separates christianity from other religions is… christianity leads to a personal relationship with the Creator- not seen or talked about with the religions of the world. Without this ‘eternal hope’ of and for life… there is nothing but the grave. The living God is not some distant capricious being we need to yell at to attract His attention. This is not the case with christianity, and eternal life starts with the acceptance of Jesus as being the Savior (The Messiah) He claimed He was.

Jesus was much more than ‘a good man,’ He was (and still is) the selflessly giving God, the God that sacrificed Himself for you and I. This sacrifice was made to prevent mankind from going to an eternal separation… away from God- a place God would die to keep you from having to go there yourself. It must be a terrible place to cause God to come in the form of a man (a disguise), to hide His God suit, and to offer Himself for our sins. The atonement of blood was made by Jesus as a one time event, to pay the price for our sins, and will be realized by those accepting Him as ‘Paid In Full’ on our account. The debt of sin had to be paid… and you can attempt to pay it and fail or accept Jesus as God, knowing He already paid the price, and receive eternal life. This life starts at the time we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior (not at the time of death), for we should show His life in our place and live for Him, from love. Nothing about this is outmoded when you think of time, in the sense of eternity, and not just in the here and now. Have we become so callous in thought to disregard the sense of eternal things being more important than the material view most humans have today? Has immortality [living forever] lost its appeal… to be thought as being immaterial or even transient? We are indeed setting our sights on true poverty… true nakedness… and true godlessness in our approach if we strive to gain from this viewpoint- an emptiness from which we really have no concept of at all. The word ‘unbelief’ in Greek, apistia (ἀπιστία) also holds the definition for ‘disobedience.’

If we are to become “children of disobedience’ we would find ourselves: devaluing life, reluctant to believe Jesus was the Son of God… information confirming the resurrection of Jesus really happened, and love would become of little consequence. This is the position the enemy of God Himself, the one who would attempt to steal God’s glory, honor and authority away wants us in- whereby God’s wrath shall be soon directed by our own choices we’ve made. God will not and does not desire to send you (or any part of humanity) to hell- this will happen from our own choices we make in relation to: God’s existence, authority and will. His will be done or ours… and if it is ours then we strive to gain our own heaven here on Earth- and will get no more. This is why ‘Carpe Diem’ is the slogan and motto for those who would choose to do it their way… seize the moment and they will remember it throughout all eternity.

I give you something to think about… find it here below, and I hope you will think about it if you still do not believe in the resurrection of Jesus- proclaiming His life continues on and was manifest by the Spirit of the living God Himself. There were inscriptions recovered from Archaeological finds where the Sixth Legion Ferrata was stationed, just South of Tel Megiddo. The following abstract is historical proof of a centurion’s belief…

This mosaic found at Tel Meggido, Israel, in 'The Chapel of the Centurion of Armageddon.'

This mosaic found at Tel Meggido, Israel, in ‘The Chapel of the Centurion of Armageddon.’

[… Tepper also uncovered the famous 3rd-century Christian prayer

hall at Megiddo Prison, the mosaics of which bore dedicatory in-

scripting to “God Jesus Christ,” including one sponsored by a centurion

named Gaianus.]

A centurion was in charge of one hundred (100) soldiers… and in a place of command and recorded as in a position of great authority and respect.

Read this at the link offered here…

Also, aside from the information already… is this note worthy find, listed as from “The Chapel of the Centurion of Armageddon.” See the link here…

With proof uncovered, and recovered, it is truly food for thought… enough to chew on before you swallow what you thought you knew as truth. Do you still disbelieve in the possibility of resurrection? I do hope you will ponder this… you will, won’t you? (D.V.)

I remain your Brother in Christ Jesus,

Russ

P.S. The image of the mosaic comes from this source.

P.S.S. this goes hand-in-hand with this writing found here.

belief, calm, choice, cost, faith

Whence camest thou to thy place secured by thine own mind?

Did thee naught but rest thine own thoughts, comforts did thee find?

Thou mightest see spirits to tell thee what mankind shouldest know…

but to avail thyself to good or bad is naught learned thou shouldest show,

pretense to claim thee toward thyself as gained from angel’s hand…

didest thou not realize lucifer was angelic too, told he’d make a stand?

The Father of lies… the deceiver of souls… the one to take the claim,

he would have humanity bow to him throughout a day to make a name…

the end of which it will be him to stand and claim himself our god,

this mirror image of something holy, it is unholy and death to sod,

the grave is where all believest lies do seek for themselves a taste…

to think something so bitter sweet could lead man to be laid waste,

there is but one God, the Hebrew God, Elah… El Shaddai is true,

He came to save man from himself, knowest thou naught will subdue.

Man, that thou art, conquer the body but thine own mind cannot defeat,

shouldest muzzle, club or death come on me… His will cannot retreat

nor forsake me, thy spirit rests in His hands this day and forevermore…

uproot my life, naught tortured, to know I’m His, I stand at heaven’s door,

thine will makest thou a way, Dear God, I rest thy mind from man’s fate…

though laidest a trap from which I’m bound, love’s promises ne’er be late.

if an angel would lie to man and it is believed… this is when death bears no significance to life itself, and when mankind (hardened to thoughts of ‘free will’) will seek to control the world. Come to know the Earth is the fulness of God made manifest for mankind to live in… and is His to do as He will. There has never come a time when something belonging to God should be used by man for man’s end- and will become the end of man to desire that which is God’s own and from pride to make this declaration. Give to God His glory… and to humanity their own choice- right or wrong… something we must live with as coming from our own mind and hand by the choices we’ve made. Beloved, there has only been one of God’s strong angels, along with his followers, kicked out of heaven… the angel full of pride- arrogant enough to want what was God’s… glory and praise. He would even lie to get it and say he was someone else!

2 Corinthians 1:3 KJV Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

[Below is an abstract taken from this page and link, corresponding to verses 1-11]

[These blessings are given by him, as the Father of his redeemed family. It is our Saviour who says, Let not your heart be troubled. All comforts come from God, and our sweetest comforts are in him. He speaks peace to souls by granting the free remission of sins; and he comforts them by the enlivening influences of the Holy Spirit, and by the rich mercies of his grace. He is able to bind up the broken-hearted, to heal the most painful wounds, and also to give hope and joy under the heaviest sorrows. The favours God bestows on us, are not only to make us cheerful, but also that we may be useful to others. He sends comforts enough to support such as simply trust in and serve him. If we should be brought so low as to despair even of life, yet we may then trust God, who can bring back even from death. Their hope and trust were not in vain; nor shall any be ashamed who trust in the Lord. Past experiences encourage faith and hope, and lay us under obligation to trust in God for time to come. And it is our duty, not only to help one another with prayer, but in praise and thanksgiving, and thereby to make suitable returns for benefits received. Thus both trials and mercies will end in good to ourselves and others.]

Daniel 4:34-37 KJV And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation: 35 And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou? 36 At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me. 37 Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.

There should be no doubt… NO DOUBT… in the believer’s mind as to where mercy is coming from or how. God the Father… and God the Son (The Savior) is where we’re to look for mercy- grace is finding His love covers us (when we accept Him as our Savior) and knowing we don’t deserve what we’ve been given. God’s love is overcoming in it’s scope… as long as we desire to seek Him and His will for us in our lives. It is my prayer you will seek out the living God, the same one Nebuchadnezzar accepted as being the one true God- worthy of the praise of man. Did you know a pagan King will meet us in heaven… and he might not be the only one. You can choose to find out for yourself and I pray you’ll choose wisely. You will won’t you? (D.V.)

GOD is Merciful, The days of wrath are soon upon us, Time has come to turn back to God and see your need

If there is any one thing mankind should remember about God… it is His great love for mankind (all of us… all nationalities) and this is tolerance. From difference we find our need for God… from our frailty comes His strength… from our faith comes the trust He knows and desires the best for us. Harm not… love all that love Him. Love all that hate you… for we were once like them ourselves but have found mercy comes from God Himself. There is no other God that has said this… and those that come fully to this knowledge will have come closer to empty themselves of selfish concerns- to find His Will for your life.

Isaiah 46:8 “Remember this, fix it in mind, take it to heart, you rebels. 9 Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. 10 I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.

Psalm 41:4 KJV I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.

Exodus 34:6 KJV And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,

2 Chronicles 30:9 KJV For if ye turn again unto the LORD, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him.

Proverbs 11:17 KJV The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh.

Luke 6:36 KJV Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

Matthew 5:7 KJV Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Isaiah 57:1 KJV The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

Below an abstract, taken from this link here… at biblestudytools.com- a great resource.

Christ never designed to be the Saviour of the fallen angels, therefore he did not take their nature; and the nature of angels could not be an atoning sacrifice for the sin of man. Here is a price paid, enough for all, and suitable to all, for it was in our nature. Here the wonderful love of God appeared, that, when Christ knew what he must suffer in our nature, and how he must die in it, yet he readily took it upon him. And this atonement made way for his people’s deliverance from Satan’s bondage, and for the pardon of their sins through faith. Let those who dread death, and strive to get the better of their terrors, no longer attempt to outbrave or to stifle them, no longer grow careless or wicked through despair. Let them not expect help from the world, or human devices; but let them seek pardon, peace, grace, and a lively hope of heaven, by faith in Him who died and rose again, that thus they may rise above the fear of death.

Do we know God from our feelings or should our feelings come from knowing God?

Come to know God and His ways… for His ways are not the ways of men or the world. If we say we lean more to feelings of God for man… are they not seen in our actions- loving or NOT?

It is my heartfelt desire for you to know the truth… the truth of God is He sent His Son to become the sacrificial lamb for the sins of men. Jesus was more than just a man… just a teacher… just a Holy man- Jesus was the Merciful God redeeming you from your sins… as only God can do for His own. Are you one of His children… or are you one of the children of disobedience?

John 3:16 KJV For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:18 KJV He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 3:36 KJV He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

If we show love is when we are shown to understand love- the type of person that knows love comes from God Himself. If we say we are taught by God… and want to become closer to God, we must then show mercy to all and the same love God has for us is the same we should also share. I pray you will thoughtfully consider these word of love- to prevent you from any unbelief or being stubborn and against God’s truth. I pray you will. (D.V.)

Russ

living waters, peace and joy come from the deliverance of God Himself

Where does one find true peace?

Plant your roots by the river…

the river of living waters come

to set His people free, the deliverer,

a joy will be known… to find

the peace you are meant to know,

go to His river, find complete

the view we shall know and show,

have you felt grief or even pain…

go back to the river, find His peace…

He is the source, the supplier of

joy… it is this to grant you release,

set your roots deep… drink deeply,

joy of His love is for us to learn,

to learn of His unending supply of

that which we need and never earn,

He has paid the debt for our sin…

gave up His Earthly life as the price,

the living God of the universe saves

us by grace (not works) kind and nice,

know Him by the river… living from

this true knowledge comes forth life,

there is to be no struggle in the

storms of life we’ll face, calm not strife,

submit to the living God, not man, or

the fear of life is then yours to know,

grown from the living waters of God’s

river… wherein love shows you to grow.

Song of Solomon 4:15 KJV A fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams from Lebanon.

Jeremiah 2:13 KJV For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

Jeremiah 17:13 KJV O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed , and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters.

Revelation 7:17 KJV For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

May His truth and will guide you, Pray for strength to endure the trials to come, Wish not for your pleasures to be met but seek to please God first

There when the moon is full comes

those times misdeeds come by trigger…

no amount of thought can reason it away

and it buys no time for those who figure

it is just coincidence… a happenstance

subjective, a chance moment and rare,

when normal people are left aghast…

you see, not everything in life is fair,

there are dark things guiding dark minds

and dark deeds done to the unsuspecting…

even those entranced to think their own

way is right, the truth is more frightening,

the door lies open to the threshold of

eternity, forever dark or light… our choice,

to be aware for an eternal day or left in

eternal darkness- maddening echos of our voice.

Did you think suffering was not going to happen to YOU because you say you believe in God… guess again. Bad things happen to good people too, and the reality of this truth is twofold. Two primary reasons for this: there are evil people in the world that do not care who they hurt or harm… and God uses suffering and trials to see if we have learned what He wants us to learn- He is in control. God does not wish to harm you but does want to see if you mean what you say, that you: love Him (no matter our condition), have faith (to show humanity we rely on our God) and mean to stick it out (as Paul said it,”To live is Christ… to die is gain”). Please know it does say in the Bible we will suffer, read below…

1 Peter 4:19 KJV Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to Him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

If we will not bear suffering for Christ now, we must bear eternal sufferings hereafter. YOU do have a choice… to live with the pleasures of this life as your choice, and with it what pleasures may come (your own little heaven), or live for God here and know God’s heaven as your home. One temporal and the other forever… your choice.
