To carry no longer… a date established,

no more to disobey the risen Messiah…

living waters and the morals characterize

the metaphor of a rock, not wind… Moriah,

but the scales of time granted us appear

to be nearing their fulness, sure prophecy,

as it was told us about the Messiah and

His first coming… this is God’s decency…

rejection coming will laugh and sneer at

the thought of there being a God to care,

look around at the suffering, they’ll say…

the message is either wheat or tied-tare,

love for love, or is it love to hate the love

and this is the reason to find His work

being done… your hands, I’d love to Lord

and guide me which way, this do not shirk

or shrink back to a selfless little doubt…

quit your integrity or comfort, to turn back

from the ways of God… face God as the

“Pearl of great choice” or what you’d lack,

have you planted seeds… good seeds on

fertile ground… that take up root and grow,

there is no where you can run to which God

cannot meet you, drawn to, and love to show.

Let’s speak of Morality… or Ethics and where we derive them from- for the definition to aid one to surety of mind and heart of change… to change itself.

[Two brief abstracts below are from this link with the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy (Stanford/edu)… and equates more to the world view of Morals, from Moral Epistemology.]

Sociological: The best explanation of the depth of moral disagreements and the social diversity that they reflect is one of two things. (a) No moral facts exist to be known, since moral disagreements exemplify merely clashes in moral sensibility rather than differences about matters of fact. (b) Moral knowledge exists, but moral facts are relative to the social group in which moral sensibility is formed with the result that no moral truths are known to hold universally.

The Marxist complaint that the standard of impartiality is unjustly biased against the working class because it renders invisible their exploitation gives rise to the same contradiction. Resolution of the paradox is important for both evaluating such criticisms and understanding in general how to evaluate moral criticisms of epistemic standards.

Latin: O tempora, o mores!… “Oh, the times! Oh, the morals!

late Middle English: from Latin moralis, from mos, mor- ‘custom’, (plural) mores ‘morals’. As a noun the word was first used to translate Latin Moralia, the title of St Gregory the Great’s moral exposition of the Book of Job, and was subsequently applied to the works of various classical writers.

[Apple definition]

operibus anteire… leading the way with deeds.

Mater semper certa est… the Mother is always known.

I ask you, how do you feel about “Odium theologicum” and the current situations we all face… as humanity? Does this not feel as though it could lead man to false conclusion (falsification), for the Bible tells us to love your enemies. If one of the monotheistic faiths then: principles should be the same, examples should look the same, love should be the primary goal and Israel’s (and her people) rights need to be honored if we would desire the same measures to be applied to ourselves! If one source (as some have claimed), that being the Hebrew God is also theirs, how can the use  of modern ethics justify being against Israel or her people… in opposition to God Himself? This simply comes down to “You are with God” or you are not!

Can this be thought true, based on the morals of God, or is it the conforming mind of man to shape truth to be what some would accept or want accepted for their own purposes (found below and from United States Conference of Catholic Bishops)?

Paul VI, Ecclesiam Suam 107, August 6, 1964

“Then [we refer] to the adorers of God according to the conception of monotheism, the Muslim religion especially, deserving of our admiration for all that is true and good in their worship of God.”

How about the legal measure of ethics applied to thought itself, if… as a Christian my own thoughts I’m sharing with you are emancipated from arbitrary or lawless: interpretation, understanding or thoughts contrary to my own beliefs- a “Habeas Corpus” to suspend any conclusion prior to reading further unless it would be used as an excuse to reason against.

The U.S. Supreme Court has recognized that the “writ of habeas corpus is the fundamental instrument for safeguarding individual freedom against arbitrary and lawless state action” and must be “administered with the initiative and flexibility essential to ensure that miscarriages of justice within its reach are surfaced and corrected.

Teleology… (Philosophy) the explanation of phenomena by the purpose they serve rather than by postulated causes, and (Theology) the doctrine of design and purpose in the material world.

This has also been clearly stated by God’s word to man… if man would but listen. This too will be tossed aside, if Jesus is not accepted… no longer will the fun man finds to do be called that but “sin” itself- light will not dwell in darkness but exposes the darkness for what it is.

Job 30:26 KJV

Job 30:26 When I looked for good, then evil came unto me: and when I waited for light, there came darkness.

So what are we supposed to do? Turn back to face God… on His terms and change/repent of what we’ve done, accept the “Good News/the Gospel” of Jesus Christ and believe Jesus is who He said He is– God Himself, The Messiah and Deliverer of souls.

1 Peter 2:1-8 1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, 2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby*: 3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. 4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, 5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. 6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. 7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made* the head of the corner, 8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto* also they were appointed.

Here we can look at what the Centurion saw and concluded… based on a very real event (the ethics and morals prevailing) and the events which can still shape our lives.

Luke 23:47 The centurion, seeing what had happened, praised God and said, “Surely this was a righteous man.”

[Compliments of Matthew Henry, and for the link at Luke 23]

Luke 24:The resurrection of Christ. (1-12) He appears to two disciples on the way to Emmaus. (13-27) And makes himself known to them. (28-35) Christ appears to the other disciples. (36-49) His ascension. (50-53)

I would in turn submit to you, whether by legality (an implied importance to obey these rules, legalism) used and justified by any (one) religion, philosophy or thought (or their ethics/morals) against Israel, or their God, or anyone perceived as not being the same is simply wrong. The flip side holds true as well, If you are being taught: to lie, deception is OK, something as it is being applied to you without your consent or demands made are under threat of personal harm (duress)- you might buy an umbrella for the coming storm!

“… in any need, service as for Christ ( Matt 25:40 ). At all times the duty of brethren is to strengthen each other ( Luke 22:32 ).The nature of the King determines the law of the kingdom, a kingdom of love ( Matt 11:2-6 ; Luke 4:16-21 ). In all situations the will of the King is to be the ultimate rule of life. And the King’s will shall triumph in the end. Human beings may choose whether to live under God’s reign or not, but he remains King.

“Human ethics, based on philosophical, sociological or psychological premises, or intuitive responses to isolated “situations, ” attain only a consensus of good advice acceptable to people already virtuous in intention. Biblical ethics, deriving from knowledge and experience of God but forged always in historical real-life situations, problems and needs, reveals unchanging absolutes, inarguable authority, effective motivation, and redemptive power. The Old Testament emphasizes that God’s requirements enshrine the secrets of total human welfare; the New Testament points to the man Jesus Christ and his intensely human story as embodiment of the ultimate ideal. Thus biblical ethics prove more truly human in the end, enshrining the Creator’s intention for his highest creatures.”

Moral ?2

[From Matthew Henry… on Isaiah 45:7]

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Verses 5-10 There is no God beside Jehovah. There is nothing done without him. He makes peace, put here for all good; and creates evil, not the evil of sin, but the evil of punishment. He is the Author of all that is true, holy, good, or happy; and evil, error, and misery, came into the world by his permission, through the wilful apostacy of his creatures, but are restrained and overruled to his righteous purpose. This doctrine is applied, for the comfort of those that earnestly longed, yet quietly waited, for the redemption of Israel. The redemption of sinners by the Son of God, and the pouring out the Spirit, to give success to the gospel, are chiefly here intended. We must not expect salvation without righteousness; together the Lord hath created them. Let not oppressors oppose God’s designs for his people. Let not the poor oppressed murmur, as if God dealt unkindly with them. Men are but earthen pots; they are broken potsherds, and are very much made so by mutual contentions. To contend with Him is as senseless as for clay to find fault with the potter. Let us turn God’s promises into prayers, beseeching him that salvation may abound among us, and let us rest assured that the Judge of all the earth will do right.

Matthew 16:20 Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.

Here from just Colossians a link and sure view.

When Isaac Asimov can get it right… there is hope for the rest of us!
