A quote from C. S. Lewis

When something is expressed as ‘Truth’ but is found
to not contain anything of worth, such is then a lie…
to keep speaking of such views to seek superiority
of one religion over another is to supplant truth and try
to gain people left in the lurch of despair, of disbelief
to the very claims of Jesus, God almighty, who is God…
there can be no one more worthy of man’s praise than
Jesus, the King who suffered for us all, let man applaud!
Scripture tells us of a time (coming) when ‘every knee
will bow and every tongue confess Jesus Christ is Lord,’
there comes a time when He will rule for throughout
eternity, for He is God, Emmanuel, in truth and word.

[What is found within the lines below comes from this article… which ended abruptly, and it causes me to desire to further explain my reasoning for the ending (as it stands).]
[a quote below from a source (what looks to me like ISIS propaganda) undisclosed]

“We are living in the time of global Jihad, when the war now is not about countries fighting each other for land, but for dominance of ideas (our battle is to make the Truth superior over falsehood).”

Surah 5:44 “Surely We revealed the Taurat (Torah/Bible Old Testament) in which was guidance and light”, with it the prophets who submitted themselves…

Surah 29:46 “And dispute ye not with the People of the Book, but say,”We believe in the revelation which has come down to us and in that which came down to you; Our Allah and your Allah is one;

[Below comes from an understanding of Colossians 3: Verses 18-25, and from Matthew Henry’s Commentary on it]

How happy would true religion make the world, if it every where prevailed, influenced every state of things, and every relation of life! But the profession of those persons who are regardless of duties, and give just cause for complaint to those they are connected with, deceives themselves, as well as brings reproach on the gospel.
[Below comes by way of Ephesians 4: Verses 25-28, and also from Matthew Henry]

Take heed of every thing contrary to truth. No longer flatter or deceive others. God’s people are children who will not lie, who dare not lie, who hate and abhor lying. Take heed of anger and ungoverned passions. If there is just occasion to express displeasure at what is wrong, and to reprove, see that it be without sin.

See evil for what it has… no heart at all!

[The list below comes from this link, an article by Leslie Vernick, entitled,”Five Indicators of An Evil and Wicked Heart.“]

1… Evil hearts are experts at creating confusion and contention.(They twist the facts, mislead, lie, deny reality, make up stories and withhold information- Jeremiah 18:18)

2… Evil hearts are experts at fooling others with their smooth speech and flattering words. (If you look at the fruit of their lives or follow through of their words, you’ll find no real evidence of godly growth or change- Titus 1:10)

3… Evil hearts crave and demand control and their highest authority is their own self-reference. (They reject feedback, real accountability, and make up their own rules to live by. Using scripture to their advantage, they’d ignore and reject passages that might require self-correction and repentance- Psalm 36:1-4)

4… Evil hearts play on the sympathies of good-willed people, often trumping the grace card. (They demand mercy but give none themselves- Proverbs 21:10)

5… Evil hearts have no conscience, no remorse. (They do not struggle against sin or evil, they delight in it, all the while masquerading as someone of noble character- Isaiah 32:6)

We have come a long way, mankind itself [humanity], and what was first understood about being a ‘martyr’ has been added to/changed and altered. See for yourself here.

God does not lie! If this statement is true… then those that follow God should not lie either. See this one reference to ‘Lie, Lying‘ and what it clearly states… from Baker’s Evangelical Dictionary of Biblical Theology.

If you (still) think God lies read this… and if your truth is based on a lie,”Why would you continue to believe it as if it is truth?”

Can you think of any scripture more telling than this (speaking of the actions of mankind), what is shown below? The link for Romans 7 is found here… to read it in its entirety and gain the context of where it is contained.

Romans 7:19-21 19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. 21 So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me.

Since it is found to be in the nature of man to do what is wrong in the sight of God, as we would think what we are doing is right, we must lean not on our understanding but pray God’s will to be fulfilled in our lives; therefore, we should trust God in all things… and through all things. All mankind/humanity has fallen short… from all cultures and walks of life- God alone is good.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

[The link for Romans 8 is found here.]
Romans 8:30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

Romans 8:31-34 31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

Romans 8:38 & 39 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Job 28:28 KJV
28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

Job 34:10 KJV
10 Therefore hearken unto me, ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.

Psalm 147:5 KJV
5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

Proverbs 21:30 KJV
30 There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD.

Colossians 2:2 KJV
2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

1 John 5:20 KJV
20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

[Below is from this link and by way of ‘Asa’s Prayer.’]
People warn us against the fanaticism of taking for granted that our cause is God’s cause. Well, we need the warning sometimes, but we may be quite sure of this, that if we have made God’s cause ours, He will make our cause His, down to the minutest matters in our daily lives.

Images are from here.

Though heart shaped, we must recognize the actions we see as good or evil!

P.S. Do you still think, according to Surah 29:46, Allah and God almighty are the same… they’re not. Please see other articles on monotheism here, or for ‘the Day of The Lord’ here, or for ‘The Dome of The Rock’ here. All of this is to add to what mankind calls ‘understanding’ and what God would call wisdom… our history unveiled in the Bible before it happens (also called prophecy)- therein called Revelation. Did you know it is the testimony of Jesus himself… as it relates to this time ahead of us all, the book of Revelation is clearly stating this to all mankind, see below…

Revelation 1:1-3 1 The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, 2 who testifies to everything he saw—that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.
