[Machiavelli is to politics what Nietzsche is to philosophy, and pity your self if you disagree or speak your mind, wash your hands and be done with it.
Latin: a caelo usque ad centrum
Or “from heaven all the way to the center of the earth”. In law, can refer to the obsolete Cuius est solum, eius est usque ad coelum et ad inferos maxim of property ownership (“for whoever owns the soil, it is theirs up to the sky and down to the depths”).
Latin: hoc est Christum cognoscere, beneficia eius cognoscere
Famous dictum by the Reformer Melanchthon in his Loci Communes of 1521, To know Christ is to know His benefits.
The river might be the same but the waters change within
the boundaries to which it remains and is confined by…
this is Heraclitus and his views, some of what even Nietzsche
would argue this point… this point of view but water is water,
and without the moisture of wisdom man cannot discuss what
length of life is, temporal or eternal… a grave or celestial arch
over the head when seen in the heavens themselves, or the
transformation of a butterfly (or moth) to completely undergo a
change of nature, designed so differently from what it started as
to and through a metamorphosis… the universe to come to an
end of its usefulness, as God and mankind know it to be, and
the Cosmos will be renewed by God Himself… man having no
say to what is to come, what has been told us or to its climax.
Parmenides on the other hand would advocate,” … judging by
reason the much contested proof… ,” that which is and remains
unseen but imperishable, the Milesians did not define a clear
and concise viewpoint… giving way to Pythagorean use defined,
“Let no one persuade you by word or deed to do or say whatever
is not best for you¹.“
1… As quoted in Divine Harmony: The Life and Teachings of Pythagoras by John Strohmeier and Peter Westbrook. (1999)
31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
16 A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.
8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
19Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.
16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
There is a predestined time… an immutable and unchanging time for mankind to realize, and the choice is known before it happens– this is God’s own to know and acknowledge. This does not change or alter (the fact) that God still gives man his choice to believe in Him or not- it is only man that says to man you must choose (now) or die [submit]. God will never force you but man will… thinking himself right to do so! Won’t you become a part of it, as you are predestined to be… to live forever? If the spirit lives on, then there are but two choices for it to reside (forever), with God or without! You still have time to choose, and I pray you’ll make up your mind while you have the time.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
