There are two separate entities when it comes to known
bodies (of people), ‘the Bride’ and ‘the elect,’
one affects those grafted into the vine and the other is
referring to God’s own people, Israel, so direct,
there is a distinct difference between these two, both
shall be recognized by God Himself, be correct…
for He shall give the vineyard to others.
‘The Bride’ is the church… those that believe without see-
ing what the people of Israel saw with their eyes,
those that have heard but not seen the things made
manifest, that have read and believed, no surprise,
with God’s own He came as a lowly servant, a simple
prophet… of the living God, He came in flesh disguise…
for He shall give the vineyard to others.
‘The elect’ are those people He will give back as new
from the old… the last remnant, Messianic and believe,
they are those of the nation of Israel, keeping of His
promise… the Covenant of God, promising to retrieve,
to see them stand and deliver the commandments of
old, as He is their God and by their faith they’ll receive…
for He shall give the vineyard to others.
The Bride… the church, the body of Christ on this Earth will continue to grow- the telling of the Gospel (the Good News) ensures this to be a fact. The Gospel message is shared by ‘the Bride’ and the invitation to the wedding will be ‘sound reason’ to believe this. While on the other hand, ‘the elect’ will be a set number (those who are sealed), one hundred and forty four thousand.
Rev 7:4-8… 4 Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel. 5 From the tribe of Judah 12,000 were sealed, from the tribe of Reuben 12,000, from the tribe of Gad 12,000, 6 from the tribe of Asher 12,000, from the tribe of Naphtali 12,000, from the tribe of Manasseh 12,000, 7 from the tribe of Simeon 12,000, from the tribe of Levi 12,000, from the tribe of Issachar 12,000, 8 from the tribe of Zebulun 12,000, from the tribe of Joseph 12,000, from the tribe of Benjamin 12,000.
One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed: This is their general identification. They are of all the tribes of the children of Israel. Ethnically, they are Jewish, and there are 144,000 of these chosen ones.
21 The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God.
13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.
5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

a remnant according to the election of grace–“As in Elijah’s time the apostasy of Israel was not so uersal as it seemed to be, and as he in his despondency concluded it to be, so now, the rejection of Christ by Israel is not so appalling in extent as one would be apt to think: There is now, as there was then, a faithful remnant; not however of persons naturally better than the unbelieving mass, but of persons graciously chosen to salvation.” (See 1 Corinthians 4:7 , 2 Thessalonians 2:13 ). This establishes our view of the argument on Election in Romans 9:1-29 , as not being an election of Gentiles in the place of Jews, and merely to religious advantages, but a sovereign choice of some of Israel itself, from among others, to believe and be saved.

By rejecting the gospel, and by their indignation at its being preached to the Gentiles, the Jews were become enemies to God; yet they are still to be favored for the sake of their pious fathers. Though at present they are enemies to the gospel, for their hatred to the Gentiles; yet, when God’s time is come, that will no longer exist, and God’s love to their fathers will be remembered. True grace seeks not to confine God’s favor. Those who find mercy themselves, should endeavor that through their mercy others also may obtain mercy. The captivities of Israel, their dispersion, and their being shut out from the church, are emblems of the believer’s corrections for doing wrong; and the continued care of the Lord towards that people, and the final mercy and blessed restoration intended for them, show the patience and love of God.
9 What shall therefore the lord of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others.
10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.
Below is information about the elect…
Matthew 24:29-41 (This is reference to the words used below, coming from the Matthew Henry Commentary on the Whole Bible)
[ …The elect of God are scattered abroad; there are some in all places, and all nations; but when that great gathering day comes, there shall not one of them be missing. Distance of place shall keep none out of heaven. Our Lord declares that the Jews should never cease to be a distinct people, until all things he had been predicting were fulfilled. His prophecy reaches to the day of final judgment; therefore he here, ver. 34, foretells that Judah shall never cease to exist as a distinct people, so long as this world shall endure… ]

(Greek – ajgenealovghto ,” the primary definition of which is, “race, kind, family, stock, breed).” (So all lexicons.) That the word is used in this sense because none of “these things,” i.e. the world-wide preaching of the kingdom, the great tribulation, the return of the Lord in visible glory, and the regathering of the elect, occurred at the destruction of Jerusalem by Titus, A.D. 70. The promise is, therefore, that the generation–nation, or family of Israel– will be preserved unto “these things”; a promise wonderfully fulfilled to this day.
[The following abstract is fromJohn Darby’s Synopsis of the New Testament]
Seated apart with Him on the Mount of Olives, the disciples inquire when these things were to happen, and what would be the sign of His coming and of the end of the age. They class together the destruction of the temple, the coming of Christ, and the end of the age. We must observe, that here the end of the age is the end of the period during which Israel was subject to the law under the old covenant: a period which was to cease, giving place to the Messiah and to the new covenant. Observe also that God’s government of the earth is the subject, and the judgments that should take place at Christ’s coming, which would put an end to the existing age.
The Lord’s discourse is divided into three parts:- 1. The general condition of the disciples and of the world during the time of the testimony, to the end of verse 14; 2. The period marked out by the fact that the abomination of desolation stands in the holy place (v. 15); 3. The Lord’s coming and the gathering together of the elect in Israel (v. 29).
Besides this, other circumstances prove, if further proof were needed, that it is the Jewish remnant who are in question, and not the assembly. We know that all believers are to be caught up to meet the Lord in the air. They will afterwards return with Him. But here there will be false Christs on the earth, and people will say, “He is here in the wilderness,” “He is there in the secret chambers.” But the saints who shall be caught up and return with the Lord have nothing at all to do with false Christs on earth, since they will go up to heaven to be with Him there, before He returns to the earth; while it is easy to understand that the Jews, who are expecting earthly deliverance, should be liable to such temptations, and that they should be deceived by them unless kept by God Himself.
The Bridegroom would indeed tarry; and the consequences that might be expected from the heart of man will not fail to be realised. But the effect, we then find, is to make manifest those who had [See Footnote #69] really the grace of Christ and those who had not.
[69: How solemn the testimony given here to the effect of the assembly’s losing the present expectation of the Lord’s return! What causes the professing church to run into hierarchical oppression and worldliness, so as to be cut off in the end as hypocrites, is saying in the heart, My lord delayeth his coming-giving up the present expectation. That has been the source of the ruin. The true christian position was lost as soon as they began to put off the Lord’s coming; and they are treated, note, though in this state, as the responsible servant.]
[Below is an abstract taken from the Geneva Study Bible… on Matthew 24]
24:22 And except i those days should be shortened, there should no k flesh be saved: but for the elects sakethose days shall be shortened.
(i) Those things which befell the people of the Jews in the thirty-four years, when the whole land was wasted, and at length the city of Jerusalem was taken, and both it and their temple destroyed, are mixed with those things which will come to pass before the last coming of the Lord.
(k) The whole nation would utterly be destroyed: and this word “flesh” is a figurative word for “man”, as the Hebrews used to say.
It is my prayer this is understood, a distinct difference between ‘the Bride’ and ‘the elect.’ It is my heart felt prayer God will lead you to the truth of His Word. Seek you first the Kingdom of God and all these things will be given unto you. You believe this,”Don’t you?” (D.V.)
Your Brother in Christ Jesus,
