enigmatic…

a word spoken

thousands of years

ago and still heard,

eternity seen in

a raindrop full of life

(life itself),

and we see but

what we want to see…

patterns of emptiness.

I heard a joke about man and his intelligence… one where he would challenge God to a duel. God accepted man’s offer, picked up a hand full of dirt… breathed on it and set it back to the ground. From the ground sprang a young tree and it bore fruit… life from life. God motioned for man… his turn.

The man, after studying: geomorphology, magnetism, thermal dynamics, genetic engineering, botany… things that he felt prepared him for this challenge, picked up some dirt. This is when God intervened, and said,”Get your own dirt.”

Emptiness... this is our challenge, to make the correlation of 'nothing to something.' If there is a: negative nothing, neutral nothing or positive nothing... it comes down to our personal choice... to see it for something or leave as nothing- nothing important!

Emptiness… this is our challenge, to make the correlation of ‘nothing to something.’ If there is a: negative nothing, neutral nothing or positive nothing… it comes down to our personal choice… to see it for something or leave as nothing- nothing important!

The view of a negative nothing (denial of anything of worth- importance), a neutral nothing (the skeptical approach is better than outright denial) or the positive nothing (to recognize and understand its true meaning)- this is the choice God grants us all… an ability to see something come from the nothing we see above!

Isaiah 53:1 Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? 2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. 3 He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
