It was as though I was released from
my own prison…
I was lifted, carried, and the sensation
of freedom left me breathless…
nothing compares to the knowledge
of eternal life,
to know God cared for you to die for
you… giving you eternal life with Him.
The choice we make is to ascend to
His will, and by His will for His glory,
this is the truth of God, for it is by
the living God… this the same God
of Abraham, God Almighty, The Messiah…
the sacrificial Lord, the servant of all
mankind… if we but believe Jesus died
for us and became our sin bearer for us…
this is He that you yield to, to the one that
holds the eternal keys to life and death.
Why would God do this for you…
to keep you from going to hell… forever.
There is no other holy writing that gives
us historic prophecy proven by test,
over two thousand (2,000) predictions
came true with Jesus and His life and death.
The chances, alone, in that being true is
10¹¹ [or a 10 with eleven zeros after it].
What is told us of eternal life is it is real,
and we will either be with God…
or we will not, and if not to live forever
without His presence near us-
conscious and aware.
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
28 In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.
20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
3 And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of them that remain of this evil family, which remain in all the places whither I have driven them, saith the LORD of hosts.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
[This is an abstract from this link… on the Resurrection]
First Corinthians 15. The earliest teaching in the New Testament concerning the resurrection is undoubtedly 1 Corinthians 15. Paul “passes on” that which he has received (presumably by oral tradition), which is of “first importance.” Paul says that the resurrection was in accordance with the Scriptures a perception that was an important one considering the magnitude of the teaching. The seemingly insignificant detail of the time sequence (“the third day”) is not an inconsequential component; rather, it reveals the historical nature of the event, which was not a private, subjective experience but one that occurred in actual time and was attested by Cephas, the Twelve, and five hundred people. Further, attempts to explain the resurrection as a mere sociological phenomenon without the supernatural element minimizes the magnitude of the event and the role that it played in the formation of Christianity.
Happy Passover,2015, and the prayer you will (yet) choose life. (D.V.)
