I chose to focus on the Irish here for a couple of sound reasons, from the perspective of : St. Patrick’s Day, being Irish myself… and the ongoing fighting amongst the people in Ireland- the fighting continues (worse yet from a christian people… and both sides consider themselves christian). I have given two perspectives to focus on; which are seeing things from Irish eyes and how the Irish are seen. There are actually three different uses for sight here: to see (what we attribute to familiarity… where we live and how we live), to be seen by others (how the world might see us), and the third is to see ourselves as we really are (to be honest with ourselves)- not as we imagine ourselves to be. In all fairness, I did not set out to offend anyone by doing this writing (least of all people that are Irish) but the story came from inspiration attributable during St. Patrick’s Day, and being Irish myself [a part of me], and lends the focus of this to also apply to all people- the world and the mosaic of humanity itself.

To fully gauge a view of ourselves we must clearly understand who and what we are… or there could be no honest evaluation. Far to many people seem to have this over-rated view of themselves- even I have been guilty of this. Hence the dire need to be honest with ourselves or the dimensions of what and who we are get blown out of proportion. If they are bigger than they might normally be… the risk of being arrogant (pompous) or appearing to be arrogant is the resulting view people may have of us. If they are smaller than they should be… the risk is being thought we are: insecure, immature, shy or bashful. Proportionality is often misunderstood due to the comparison chosen, that which either makes us feel better about ourselves or worse than we did before we chose to do so.

There is nothing wrong with ‘a little pride’, as with a hand cooked meal… (seen here) on a holiday.

A good Irish meal... (for St. Patrick's Day) corned beef, cabbage and potato!

A good Irish meal… (for St. Patrick’s Day) corned beef, cabbage and potato!

but the world sees the pride the Irish have, and all to often where it leads to… see below.

It is pride that gets in our own way, a sense of: National ‘PRIDE’ (in this case), personal ‘PRIDE’ (thinking we are more than we are due to accomplishments) or even false ‘PRIDE’ (just putting on airs to what we want to seen as… something we’re not). Pride can also tell us we can do it on our own, or listen to someone else tell us we’re not that bad, or to read a self-help-book… which would empower us to be so nonchalant, indifferent… less anxious, about who we are and what we’ve become. So much for effective understanding of what and who we really are- what we see ourselves to be. What we think of ourselves is not always what we are… then we are only fooling ourselves.

The ‘WOW’ factor of me… is what I’d call it, when the desire to be seen supersedes the desire to help a fellow human being from the woe they might feel. When selfishness cares little for the next person is when it really is,”Woe on us” instead of ‘Wow’ on us. To gain an insight to how we really are… we must stand in front of God to see who and what we are- the reality many do not want to face (as being possible). This is the comparison one will dread or love… and where honesty to ourselves is in sight of how God sees us- when one can understand the meaning of ‘being humble’.

Job 40:12 KJV

12 Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.

Numbers 11:15 KJV

15 And if thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee, out of hand, if I have found favour in thy sight; and let me not see my wretchedness.

Psalm 14:3 KJV

3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Revelation 3:17 KJV

17 Because thou sayest , I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

Isaiah 64:6 KJV

6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Sin is that which God does not tolerate and condemns. If we have not accepted His Son, Jesus, as our Lord and Savior… it will be just as it was during ‘the Passover’ in Egypt– death to follow upon those without having the covering of blood [belief in Jesus Christ dying for our sins]. Passover, 2015, draws ever closer… it should also draw you closer to God Himself.

Psalm 11:4 KJV

4 The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

Psalm 93:2 KJV

2 Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.

Revelation1:17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. 18 I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.

Ephesians 3:4-6 In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, 5 which was not made known to men in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God’s holy apostles and prophets. 6 This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 3:1-8 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. 5 Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. 6 Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. 7 You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. 8 But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.

Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. 17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.

Galatians 3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. 23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. 24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer  under a schoolmaster. 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

According to John Gill’s exposition of the Bible, specifically this passageGalatians 3:29, a believer is an heir (a son) and counted as equals with Jews that believe [in one body]. An abstract below…

then are ye Abraham’s seed;
not his natural but his spiritual seed, the seed that should come, and to whom the promises were made, ( Galatians 3:16 Galatians 3:19 ) and so were upon an equal foot even with the Jews that believed [that have faith]:

Isaiah 45:19 KJV

19 I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

So then, I’d ask this same question to you… do you know who and what you are? In light of God’s word to all mankind, do you know God for yourself, and are you one of His own (the children of God), they are heirs of God; and being the spiritual children of Abraham, the children of the promise God would ask us all to be? I pray your eyes will be opened… by seeking God for yourself, and not just taking what another has told you as being truth. God’s truth will forever reign supreme- none will compare to all He has done throughout man’s brief history. Will you welcome His return or follow the man which comes to claim himself god? Which God do you choose, the living God or the one that comes to declare himself god in the temple? Know they are not the same!

Hebrews 9:14 KJV

14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Or is an opposer, an adversary of Christ… when Christ requires that the Lord God only should be worshipped and served.

Mark 13:14 KJV

14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

Daniel 7:25 He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. The saints will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time.

Revelation 13:18 KJV

18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

The time has come to open your eyes to the truth of who you are… without the illusions  and imagination of the image we desire, see or have. If you can still have the same image of yourself (as you do… after reading this article) then it is my hope and prayer you have been honest with yourself- in light of how you are known by God individually.

Temple plans from 2011

Temple plans from 2011

Did you know work began on building the Temple Altar… the one for sacrificial offerings (prophecy coming to pass), as reported in an article July 30th, 2009, in Arutz Sheva (israelnationalnews.com0. Also, the High Priest’s Crown was reported complete December 2nd, 2007 (same source… at this link here). Here is ‘The Temple Institute‘ in Jerusalem… to keep you updated… if you wish to be. I’d think the count down clock should already be started- the beginning to man’s end is here. Time to choose… which God will you serve, the one having already been here or the one to claim the Temple as his own? I pray you will make the right choice here… for eternal life is at stake. (D.V.)

Your Brother in Christ Jesus,

P.S. I wish you the best Passover for 2015 you can have… one where wisdom rules over pride… over traditional thought, and most of all… over secular notions. Plan your eternity now… even if your Irish or not!

Colossians 2:8 KJV

8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
