Nothing man can do but see the coming…
the coming of prophecy told the wise,
and it will be the wise to then listen to
what was told us… and dare not despise,
scripture is quite plain in parts it needs to
be… in others one must work to see intent,
bear no clouds to sure reason for God’s
truth… He alone reigns above man’s tent,
there is presently pure evil being waged…
rumors of wars and wars to come we see,
this clouds the minds of men so handily…
how it looks not the same for you or me.
Revelation 6:1-8 RSV
1 Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say, as with a voice of thunder, “Come!” 2 And I saw, and behold, a white horse, and its rider had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer. 3 When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say,”Come!” 4 And out came another horse, bright red; its rider was permitted to take peace from the earth, so that men should slay one another; and he was given a great sword. 5 When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say,”Come!” And I saw, and behold, a black horse, and its rider had a balance in his hand; 6 and I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; but do not harm oil and wine!” 7 When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!” 8 And I saw, and behold, a pale horse, and its rider’s name was Death, and Hades followed him; and they were given power over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth.
Below is a collection I have gathered (in abstract) from this link here… regarding the Revelation above.
The Lamb had been slain to redeem men and the world Revelation 5:9. Having paid the ultimate price, He is now worthy to open the first seal and initiate the steps which will lead to His global rule on earth. This last point, the ushering in of God’s earthly kingdom, can be seen in the similarities between the events found in this book when compared with the events leading to the establishment of the first Theocratic Kingdom on earth—when Israel was delivered from Egypt. There will be a similar gracious but infinitely greater preliminary miracle [like Ex. Ex. 7:12]—the Rapture of the Church—warning men of the supremacy of Jehovah and the ultimate defeat of all who rebel against Him.

There have been many things man would try to find as coming from the prophecy/prophecies made in the Bible, especially about ‘end times’ prophecy. Some change it to suit their views (alter it)… others deny it as a looming prediction in this modern age but I’d suggest closer scrutiny should come to our minds as there could be dire consequences to pooh-poohing this avowed declaration. Further, some would make the claim this came by way of John of Patmos, as done by the Author of this link here but please know the Book of Revelation is ‘The Revelation of Jesus Christ’ as told by John of Patmos. The declarations made in Revelation comes with sound reason for us to take careful notice to what is contained therein- for christians should understand them as coming from God Himself. The talking of the ‘four horsemen of the Apocalypse’ is much more than imagery… it is a warning– the warning all mankind should heed.
[PLEASE NOTE: Some of the links provided are not a sign of endorsement… but to show diversity of thought to what has been stated in ‘the Bible’. The link for ‘much more than imagery‘ above also includes some pretty incredible artwork of the four horsemen and their images capture some of what the mind of man could picture as happening- to which, I’m sure, the real events… if we could see spiritual things with Earthen eyes would ensure our faith for the rest of our lives.]
