Having taken on the burden

of the sins of the world…

little wonder Jesus said,”I thirst,”

feeling no connection with

the Father, feeling isolated…

manship in checkmate, the worst,

same as is mankind today

without God, impaired by choice…

living for the moment and so curst,

from the tomb came He,

His Godship not to be denied…

He the bright and morning star burst,

and you, have you not felt

this longing… this need well up…

for life and living forever a thirst.

John 19:28 KJV After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst .

Amos 8:11 KJV Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

John 4:14 KJV But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
