Ignorance could be said as something you were unaware of…
oblivious to or unfamiliar with, but please know there is a
profound difference between unlettered or untutored… Jesus
confounded the learned [wise] in all His words and way,
uninformed is the opinion He was unschooled, always in
the Synagogue to hear God’s word… parents were made
to look for Him when He turned up missing, found was He
in the place of God talking with the Elders, Father obeyed,
He was not lettered but knew more than the Authorities of
‘the Law of God,’ and often quoted Genesis most of all…
those that were said to have studied the Torah [the scriptures],
when in His presence, could not respond to His question or call.
Matthew 2 (King James Version) [and all you have to do (to listen to Matthew 2) is click the speaker image]. It is my desire to share “the Good News” of the Gospel of Jesus with you… so you do not remain ignorant (uninformed, ill-informed, inexperienced or naive about) to the fact that WE HAVE A SAVIOuR IN CHRIST JESUS.
Romans 11:25 KJV For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
1 Peter 2:15 KJV For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:
Acts 17:30 KJV And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
Romans 10:3 KJV For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
Ephesians 4:23 KJV And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
1 Peter 1:13 KJV Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
Luke 10:27 KJV And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
Proverbs 25:25 KJV As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.
Mark 1:1 KJV The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;
Luke 7:22 KJV Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.
Matthew 24:14 KJV And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Proverbs 25:21 KJV If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:
Jeremiah 17:13 KJV O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters.
Revelation 7:17 KJVFor the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
Beloved [known and unknown], know the Gospel is the good news of God to all mankind: Jew and Gentile, slave and free, male and female… for did not the angels [messengers of God] announce this truth to mankind at His birth? We can know God personally… the Saviour [Deliverer] of the world, the Son of God Himself. Also, I’m adding here a link to B.A.S [Biblical Archaeology Society, on Sept. 19th, 2013] and information on the “free” e-book covering “Gabriel’s Revelation,” a Dead Sea Scroll in Stone, now on exhibit in the Israel Museum. Here is the link to information on “Gabriel’s Revelation,” with CRI [Christian Research Institute], P.O. Box 8500, Charlotte, NC, 28271. Shame the Author of the controversial book,”Zealot,” by Reza Aslan, didn’t incorporate such a discovery as this in his book [found in July, 2008-five years before], and Reza a world religious scholar [his claim].
Without the thought of an actual resurrection of Jesus Christ… christianity falls flat on its face. I’m glad this is not the case, and we have an eternal hope in life to come. Maranatha.
Luke 2:11 KJV For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
Matthew 2:1 KJV Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
Bethlehem, far from being merely a little backwater town [only five (5) miles south of Jerusalem], the birth place [of the lineage] of David, King of Israel. It was also called ‘the House of Bread,’ and now called ‘the House of flesh.’ If the word was made flesh… to digest the meaning of the word of God is to read it… to fully learn of the importance of Jesus to all humanity.
