When it comes to Jesus having two natures, being both God and man [theanthropic], He shared with all people the nature of a servant… letting the nature of His Godhood take back seat. There were times during His ministry, after being baptized by John the Baptist, He showed [by example] what God can do. All one has to think about is ‘the Miracles,’ i.e. bringing Lazarus back from the dead, turning water into wine, feeding the multitudes with a few fish and a loaf of bread. It is found in His resurrection… the truest nature of God, being able to defeat death, and this spoken of in the Bible- God lives and is alive. False are statements contained within other beliefs that Jesus was nothing more than: a man, prophet, zealot or teacher… to a christian He: was, is and ever shall be God almighty Himself.
I know of no other religion which openly claims you can invite God into your heart, to abide within you during the living experience in your life… giving you this exposure to Him directly. The host [the believer] to gain by knowing we are being given two natures, our own and the divine nature [the holy Spirit and it is His Spirit that gives us our sense of conviction in whatever we do]. When a person yields themselves to what the Spirit within you will do… you are then exhibiting the nature of God Himself. As a living temple, it is these moments of your life God will [truly] intercede and alter or change your mind to what you might do or say. If the glory is for, to or from God… you’ll realize the moving to come from the Spirit and the glory belongs to God. Please know you will understand the difference between what you were going to do vs. what the Spirit guides you to do- there will be nothing to guess about here and it will leave you in amazement.
Having a dual nature is not the easiest to get accustomed to, especially when you realize you are also an emissary for God and our actions are known by God as they happen. This can be very sobering in thought… well it should be. Love your enemies as yourself… this is one of the hardest things to do in life. Another of the hardest things to do is forgive yourself of something you know you did was wrong. The most important part of it is to ask God for His forgiveness, to be able to continue on… and then- to continue on. One slip of the tongue [the rudder] can lead a ship to destruction… and so it is with us. Pray His hand is ever on you and His Spirit to guide you… and guide you He will.
I would ask everyone to please pray before reading the scripture, ask for wisdom and I hope you’ll ask the holy Spirit for guidance also.
Psalm 27:4 KJV One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
Matthew 12:6 KJV But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.
John 2:19 KJV Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
John 2:21 KJV But he spake of the temple of his body.
1 Corinthians 3:16 KJV Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
1 Corinthians 6:19 KJV What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
2 Corinthians 6:16 KJV And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Revelation 21:22 KJV And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
We have a High Priest and He is Jesus Christ Himself, in the Order of Melchizedek. Find out about Him and desire most to see His face… the face of God.
1 Corinthians 6:20 KJV For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Psalm 31:5 KJV Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.
Revelation 5:9 KJV And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
Once you yield to Jesus, finding the cross was where payment of your sin nature (the one you were born into/being human) was paid in full [by blood sacrifice], ask Him in your heart… repent and follow Him- you will find your body is not your own. We have been purchased with a price… and love holds the title. It is my full desire of heart, as a servant of the most high God, that I share this in the spirit of love… that you might also come to see what God has freely given us all- the chance to live forever [eternally] with Him. I pray you will accept this with open heart. (D.V.)
Your Brother in Christ Jesus,
P.S. There is a lot of controversy among those in world religious academia [claiming themselves to be religious scholars] and one such person is the Author of ‘Zealot.’ I say God is bigger than any controversy [a tempest in a tea pot] man can espouse upon. When a person will study [if to study the Bible means to view it openly and without bias] about the life of Jesus in the holy scripture, it is the Spirit of God which aids one to feel the conviction of the words. What God requires of man is best seen in Romans 12… and to know John 1:1… taken to heart.
John 1:1 KJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
I must add this here in love, that all might see the truth of the hope we hold on to and cherish…
Ephesians 2:12 KJV That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
