How hard is it to believe something when you have solid evidence to make the claim it is true? This is not just relegated to my own faith [meaning… I don’t just believe it because it is written a certain way], I believe it to be true because it is proven to be truthful. This is what prophecy can do for your own testimony, add a deeper layer of validity and impact to what you are expressing to another… let me explain.
Most people, when confronted with evidence, will believe what you are telling them… even if it might be lip-service- just to get you to shut-up. The trouble with this is they’ll remember what you said… and then they will be at a virtual crossroad- to trust in the information shared or to deny it. Jesus said if we deny Him among men He will deny us in His Father’s presence, this is found in Matt. 10:33 [But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven]. This would be a catastrophe in the making… knowing of the truth and denying it as implausible for and in your life.
Evidence makes the difference when it comes to prophecy, to be told what we can expect, and to know if some has already come true [in real time] the rest should bear the same weight- being truthful. Once tested [proven to be factual] the veracity of the word of God should then become more and more interesting and meaningful to an individual’s life. Evidence now ever more important, especially to the truth of the meaning of the cross and what sacrifice was made by God for us on our behalf. The bible is full of: history, prophecy and the truth of God’s love for all mankind… should we find the time to read more about it. If we have come to the place of our need for God in our lives again… to give our lives true meaning and to be restored with God’s love residing in our hearts. It is easier to find evidence for God’s love than it is to look for evidence against Him… don’t you think?
At this time I will bring up and discuss the greatest feature to these prophecies… this is come to us by: Daniel, Isaiah, Hosea, Amos and the many other prophets used by God for His messages to the people through God’s Spirit and is God’s telling to man that which is to come- a telling of history before it happens. In the book of Daniel we find some of the most misunderstood prophecies written in the bible [even though most are further explained]. This comes from some of the imagery mentioned and tends to throw people off. No other religion known to man has ever made the same claims or has been proven to be factually accurate as has been found to be written in: the Torah, the Bible or earlier translations of these same documents which form these holy truths [known as scripture]. If the truth of his own visions correspond to actual events and objects we can verify in a historical context today… this is evidence to: the truthfulness of his words, the accuracy of the description and the word as given to us in the holy bible as being tested and found true.
One of the prophets was Zechariah. This is one of the prophecies come to pass, written in Zechariah is this, see here… Zechariah 12:3 KJV And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. Just as recent as the last Olympics (2012), the world came together and would have denied Israel her Capital City, Jerusalem, with the BBC and the Olympic Committee in London claiming it to be something it is not… the Capital of the proposed State of Palestine. Find it in the link seen here.
By far the most relevant prophecy in modern times was the beginning of the last days prophecies, this was the clear signpost told us in Amos 9:14-15. Here is this scripture for you to read. Amos 9:14 And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. 15 And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.
This is a copy of the newspaper headline to declare the truth of this happening (NY Times), and here is the link for you to see another version [one in Palestine] and the type to declare what it says. This was reiterated by Jesus Himself [though stated differently] in Matthew 24:32-35. Matthew 24:32-35 KJV 32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
I would also like to share this with you… a site that tells you of ten (10) prophecies that have already come true in 1948 alone, among them the one above. See this link here.
As you can clearly see for yourself… evidence to both validity and veracity does exist to what the Bible tells us. Please look at this commentary for reason to believe… food for thought… and an eye opener to the odds and the complexity of prophecy itself. It is up to us to either believe it to be the truth it is… or not. I hope you will. (D.V.)
Your Brother in Christ Jesus,
P.S. Make the coming holiday the best Passover it can be… one that includes you in the family of God. Oh, also… this is for the gains of the Jewish perspective [meaning not just for us gentiles/rapture/ harpázō]. If you are a Messianic Jew, right now, then you are also included, as the truth can be found here.
P.S.S. I firmly believe those that are to be the elect in Israel [the 144,000] are Jews that have not had their eyes opened to the truth of Jesus… being God almighty, the same God as was with Abraham, Moses and Elijah. They are being saved for this and have already been appointed [being found worthy and strong in their faith]. See the laws of men change to accommodate the path of men [pluralism and false gods to be sought out and worshipped] to be led astray… for wide is the path to their destruction and narrow is the gate to heaven. John 14:6 KJV Jesus saith unto him, Iamthe way, thetruth, andthelife: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
