Intelligence is no panacea to

all man’s woes…

it is to equate intellectualism

as a rock in a bottle, one we

would grasp, refusing to let go…

as the hairless ape we would become.

 

Intelligence is a paradox,”The more you learn the more you realize… the less you know.” I have seen smart men do stupid things (removed from their field of study) and I have seen people unlearned exhibit wisdom beyond the teachings of men. It has been sought by men, even Solomon, a method of learning to seek the issues of life to appease the emptiness we all endure. These are a couple of Solomon’s answers to this vexation of mankind.

 

Ecclesiastes 7:7 (King James Version)

Surely oppression maketh a wise man mad; and a gift destroyeth the heart.

Ecclesiastes 12:12-14 (King James Version)

And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh. 13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
