Ever comes the time we shall be tested… to see if what we believe we will stand up for. When one is a believer in Christ Jesus… there is not a time when we should be scared, afraid, not one to be long lasting but momentary. Better that we are afraid of grieving the Spirit Himself… or to shame our Father or the LORD, for not speaking the truth and making a stand for these same beliefs we would claim we have and hold dear. Either you believe or you don’t… either you know your God is always there or you do not. Hot or cold… what the LORD Himself said,“I would rather have you hot or cold than be lukewarm.” In Revelations 3 is found this… in verse 16,“So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.”

This day and time we are in has been foretold from the days of old, and the time has come to be sure about what you believe and why you do. This is the day of the proud and arrogant… thinking they can do as they damn well want to… without consequences or repercussions. As it comes to what God wants us to do… this becomes very serious very quickly, and we need to discern between right and wrong in the eyes of God. This will, sometimes, place us in harm’s way… and we might have to go through great trials for what we believe- especially in the time we currently live. If you are to be led by the Spirit in your daily walk, remember Psalms 23 for strength… and know it to be the truth of God on this Earth. We were never told this would be easy or that it would come without great price or cost- know that the important things of life might cost us but the reward will be even more amazing to behold. To this end, we should remain strong and true to our beliefs, to know God is always there… with us to the end. I would be more apprehensive in this life to think this was all there is… left with a sense of hopelessness.

As always, I would request that you pray first… prior to reading the scripture provided, that you might be granted a deeper understanding of God’s word and find the truth of God within your heart when it is over.
_____________
Scripture:

Isaiah 35:4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.

Mark 4:40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?

Hebrews 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Philippians 1:14 And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.

Philemon 1:4 I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers, 5 Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; 6 That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

The days are short and the need is to be strong in your belief, strong in your faith… bold and emboldened. There is dire need to be concerned, yes, but know we are working for the King of glory, the LORD almighty, Jesus Christ. Find your courage… find His strength and know there is no tower to big, no problem so large that it will defeat Him… for it is Him, LORD God almighty, you are seeking to please. It pleases Him to know you will be obedient, faithful and trusting Him in all things- great and small. Find comfort from the strength He gives… the rest He grants us in His hands. Will you trust Him with your whole heart, mind and soul? I pray you will. (D.V.)

Your Brother in Christ Jesus,
Russ
